Update 9-9-10

So the kids of course have started school, they actually started back in July so they'll be off track soon. I can't wait, maybe Ill get to sleep in. We'll see! Alivia is doing very well in school, her teacher loves her and said that she is reading above her beginning levels and is doing very well in math. She has been reading a lot of Junie B Jones. (Her Fav) Sophia has also been doing very well in school. She is learning quickly. Although she has gotten in trouble at school, not for being mean, or fighting or anything like that. She has actually been getting in trouble BECAUSE after she finishes her homework she gets up and walks around the classroom dancing and singing. Her teacher (who happens to know our family very well) has a soft spot for Sophia because she talks a lot as well. So she and Sophia get a long GREAT!! Sophia brought her homework home the other day and as we were practicing her numbers. I told her to write 1 to 5, her result in writing 1 to 5 was 1, 2, 5. She followed directions, but I need to be more specific. lol Isaac is 1. He still isn't walking although at this point Im not sure I want him to walk. He gets into everything in sight. He has figured out how to flush the toilet, so we have lost a couple socks. Im not sure of anything else. I guess we will find out when the toilet floods. He has been keeping us very busy, and on our toes. He has become very interested in toddler cartoons, his favorite being Jungle Junction. Lets see what else. OH he went to the doctors to get tests done to figure out what is causing all his little seizure episodes and stuff like that. The results from his EEG, EKG came back normal, his blood test did not come back normal. He is border line anemic meaning he has very very low iron. He will be taking an iron supplement for a month then will go back in for a follow up to see how his levels are. Wish us luck! lol

FINALLY AN UPDATE ON THE ESCOBARS!

Well it has been a very long time since I have posted anything on here! I apologize now! lol There has been so much that has happened in the last oh we'll say year or so. I will individualize on each and every person in my family! Don't worry there are only 5 of us!! Here we go!

Chris is still working at UPS and Marko. He loves what he does, but I'm not sure he loves his hours. lol He still continues to work out as much as possible to gain some weight, unfortunately I think I have gained his weight for him. He has been very active in the soccer lives of our girls. He will be coaching soccer for Alivia coming this fall of 2010. Alivia is very excited but I think a little scared. She knows he will be harder on her than any of them. lol He is very sad that the snowboarding season is over. BUT he has already gotten some camping plans set up. He and his male cousins are going to be doing there annual campout! While of course all of us wives stay home and take care of the children. Which is fare! As far as anything else he is almost 30 and staying healthy and strong.

Jana (myself) has FINALLY completed my high school education. Almost 7 yrs later! I finished in March. I have started Cosmetology at SLCC just recently. It will be my 4th day tomorrow, and I love it! Cosmetology has always been a dream of mine and I'm finally going to achieve it! There are a lot of things that I have been working hard for, since it was a resolution of mine. I might have bitten off more than I can chew, but so far I am doing it! I just recently have been focusing on my health and weight. I just started a diet this year and have lost almost 30 pounds. I exercise every morning, and have been losing weight consistently for a good 3 months. As far a work, well Im a stay at home mom so that is very hard work. I love every moment of it, although sometimes I want to sleep! lol Other than that I have been trying to achieve anything I put my mind to!

Alivia will be starting 2nd grade this coming fall. She will also be getting ready to be baptized in December! Man how time flies! She is doing very well in school, the teacher she has now absolutely loves her! She is very smart and a very good reader. Sometimes she reads better than I think. Sometimes she reads over my shoulder and it drives me crazy! lol She loves to do soccer, and is also involved in a dance class. She will be having a recital on the 2nd of June and is very excited! She knows her dance very well. She will be performing to "Don't Stop The Beat". A song from the musical "Hairspray". It is very cute! Alivia loves to sing, and does it very well, she also likes to draw and design dresses. I hope one day she will make money out of what she does. She also loves to tease her little sister, but hey who doesn't??

Sophia will be starting kindergarten this coming fall. She is very excited, Im worried because she is on this "LOVE" thing. Every time she comes home from school she says that there is a boy in her class that said he loves her. lol Sophia like Alivia loves to play soccer, sing, dance and everything else. And is very good at what she does! She can shake what her mama gave her! lol She just had surgery this year for tubes (again) and to have her tonsils removed. She is still wearing corrective lenses to try and correct her "Lazy Eye". So far we just keep getting and spending more and more money for her glasses. But whatever it takes I guess. She is also doing very well in school. She attends Ms. Amy's school and loves it! But hates that she can't share lips. lol

Just in August we welcomed a new family member. Isaac Enrique Escobar. He came in weighing 7lbs 11oz. He was born August 23rd 2009. He is a handful but has been a true blessing to this family! He is almost 9 months old and weighs almost 25 lbs. He has a lot of hair in which I have kinda made into a mohawk. He is a very happy baby, and is actually starting to turn into a mama's boy. He loves to be outside and definitely loves his sisters. They are a great help when it's needed. Sophia loves to make him laugh and makes some crazy faces to make his day. He has 2 teeth on the bottom but thats about it. He continues to grow and break my back!

All in all we have been a great family! We are currently working towards the temple which we are hoping to complete in October of this year 2010. We will have all 3 children sealed to us for time and all eternity! I am blessed to have such a wonderful husband to support me and the children in all we do, even when he is tired! Now I would like to share some stories of the girls that I continue to remember because they always make my day!

One morning we were trying to win Justin Bieber tickets for his concert coming up in July. (AVZ and SAZ LOOOVE JUSTIN!) I had sent numerous text mssgs to try and win these tickets. Well being that it is a radio station they send you a txt back to confirm they received your txt. Well SAZ decided that she was going to call the number. I walked into my room and heard SAZ say "OH THANKS! I LOVE YOU!" I asked her who it was and her response was "OH IT WAS JUSTIN BIEBER, HE SAID HE WANTED TO INVITE ME AND MY WHOLE FAMILY TO HIS CONCERT AND HE LOVES ME"....What do you say to something like that other than say "GREAT LETS GO"........I almost feel pressured into going and buying Justin Bieber tickets! AHHHHH

AVZ came up to me..."MOM YOU SHOULDN'T GET TOO DARK FROM THE SUN" JZE "WHY?" AVZ "WELL BECAUSE IT WILL MAKE YOU ALL OLD AND WRINKLY LIKE GRANDMA".....OH BUT SHE LOOOOVES HER GRANDMA!

I love my family, especially my children! They keep me young, fun and beautiful! -Jana

Alivia' Beliefs

I had my 2 sister in laws come and stay the night at my house. They went to get a drink of water, and let me remind you that it is "Magna" water. They get a huge drink, with a disgusted look on their face. They ask "Ewwww! Why is your water so salty?" and before I could respond. Alivia says " Uh, Duh! It's salty because it's "Mesican" water, because we are "Mesican".  Not because it's "Magna" water. 

Something New

So today I was browsing around trying to figure out why everyone BLOGS....Then I started reading and found it quite entertaining, so i figures HEY!! WHAT THE HECK!! So just to get started and give an update of my newly created lil family...

Chris is 25 and will be 26 in November as long as he hits 30 before me we will be okay. He is currently  working 2 jobs (STILL) he is such a crazy person when it comes to his work. He works at UPS as a sorter from 3 am to 8 am and from there he goes to his other job Marko Foam Pro. Until 5p where he gets all his energy to stay alive for that many hours i have no idea. He is doing very well there and loves what he does. Just recently he asked if he could quit and stay home with the girls...I was all for it but he was kidding...He will be started soccer again this coming fall. Coaching it that is. And his little sister Megan will be on his team. He has grown to love the Coach position. We'll see how this season goes...

I myself Jana am 23 and will be 24 in October...A year older but I don't know about wiser!! I just recently quit DFG which was a collections company for CTP loans. I loved what i did but the place was not all that fun anymore...Yea fun at work, I have to have a job that is fun or I will never last!! So I now work Full time at Prestige Financial which is also a collections job...BUT it's under Larry H Miller and from my understandings he takes very good care of his employees. I just recently started there on the 14th of July and I absolutely LOVE IT!! I finished my first week of training, and get so excited to get on the phones every day. I will now be collecting all the Car Loans that are from Larry H Miller car dealerships...I didn't realize how big this company was. I'm very excited to get more involved!! I will keep you updated daily! I as well will be coaching soccer this fall for Alivia'a team, and Dani. I'm way excited because again, soccer is something i enjoy. 

Alivia is now 5 will be 6 in November. She starts kindergarten this year and is very excited to go back to Lake Ridge. She will have Mrs. Newsome, and so will Dani. She is getting so big it kinda makes me sad. She is also going to be started soccer again and I will be her coach. YAY!! 

Sophia is now 3 will be 4 in October. I'm trying to get her enrolled into early pre-school, but that all depends on her shots and immunizations. I need to get a paper from her doctor for that. She just recently got glasses because her vision is so awful in one eye it is 20/20 in the other it's 20/300. It's so sad when she come up to you and says "My eye is going crooked I need my glasses on". I'm hoping as she grows older she still has the same personality and laughs at her crooked eye when others are too...Or maybe she will just beat them up. Who knows?? She is quite the spit fire. 

Achilles and Briseis are quite the pets. They are Boston Terriers and we treat them as our kids. Chris and I just fixed up the dog run in the backyard so they can be outside while we are at work. We didnt find it necessary for them to be locked in the house all day everyday. Plus my mom wasnt too shabby of them crying all day in our room. They are by far some great dogs. We hope to breed them when they are old enough. I'm excited to be a grandma already and I'm only 23.
